Anna Berenika Haefliger - Founder & Artist Agent
Anna Berenika Haefliger is an Artist Agent, Artistic Planner, and Production Manager with extensive international experience in classical music management and orchestral planning.
In 2020, she founded Haefliger Production, a boutique agency focused on a curated roster of distinctive instrumentalists, with an emphasis on long-term artistic development and bespoke career strategies.
She began her career in 2016 at Andreas Richter Cultural Consulting GmbH, managing the international touring of conductor Teodor Currentzis and the orchestra musicAeterna, gaining early, high-level experience in artist management.
In 2018, she joined Impresariat Simmenauer GmbH, one of Europe’s leading artist management agencies, representing internationally acclaimed musicians including Vadim Gluzman, Elena Bashkirova, Marc Bouchkov, and Amihai Grosz. Her portfolio encompassed strategic career development, international bookings, and high-profile client relations across major concert venues, orchestras and festivals.
Since 2022, Anna has served as Artistic Planner of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, working closely with Iván Fischer and his team. Over the course of three years, she has overseen season programming, international touring, and long-term artistic strategy, reinforcing the orchestra’s reputation as one of the world’s top ensembles.
Fluent in Russian, English, German, and Spanish, Anna combines a global perspective with strategic insight, providing exceptional expertise in bridging artist management and orchestral planning. She holds degrees from the University of Edinburgh and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London
Samir Obaido - Assistant Artist Manager
Samir Obaido has joined Haefliger Production as an assistant manager to garner experience in the sphere of music & cultural management. Samir feels a keen affinity to communication and its role in facilitating events in the cultural scene of Europe, so for him it is essential to explore that within the frame of artist management.
Mainly a musician, Samir has been playing in the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra since 2017, and has been a member of the West-Eastern Divan Ensemble since 2020. He was recently elected to be part of the newly formed committee of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, a focus group that represents the musicians in liaison with the administration, where issues regarding dialogue, coexistence, and human connection are addressed on a daily basis. Samir speaks English, German, and Arabic.
Born in Amman, Jordan, Samir grew up in a Palestinian household with music and the arts situated in the clear foreground. In 2015, he applied to the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin in search of proper academic training and new international, cultural impulses. During his studies, he received violin lessons from Axel Wilczok and Michael Barenboim, and completed his Bachelor’s in 2019. Samir also acquired an Artist Diploma in 2020.
